Dear Sir:
Pursuant to the requirements specified in 10CFR50.71(e), one signed original and twelve (12) copies of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station Unit 1 Final Safety Analysis Report Update are hereby submitted.
In the past year we hava established a new program for updating the FSAR which is more efficient and less time-consuming.
One aspect of the program being partially implemented in this revision is changing over FSAR figures to the actual controlled engineering drawing (where applicable).
Consequently, this submittal contains (194) new figures / drawings; however, only (29) were actually revised from our last submittal.
These changed figures are shown on attachment #1.
Also, we have included additional pages with editorial changes (i.e., typos, grammar corrections) which have been identified through our continuing review of the FSAR. These changes are proforma and do not warrant the use of change bars. We believe that the requirements as specified in 10CFR50.71(e) have been satisfied with submittal of these documents.
