Dear Mr. Schwencer:

We are pleased to provide the following infonnation in support of the resolution of SER license condition #5.

Sections 4.1 and 4.9 of the attached procedure provide special operating instructions to encure appropriate closure, following an accident, of the remote manual containnent irolation valves associated with:

(1) PECW supply to the recirculation pmp seal coolers (HV13-106, 108)

(2) PECW return fran the recirculation pump seal coolers (hV13-107, Ill)

(3) DCW supply (HV87-120A, B)

(4) DCW return (hT87-121A, B)

(5) RECW backup supply to drywell coolers (HV87-125 A, B)

(6) RIXM backup return fran drywell coolers (HV87-124A, B) l i

As noted in FSAR Table 6.2-17, the above containment isolation valves will receive diverse, autcratic isolation logic by the end of the first refueling cutage.
