DOCKETS 50-266 AND 50-301 ItiPLEMENTATION OF GENERIC LETTER 89-13 SERVICE WATER SYSTEM PROBLEMS AFFECTING SAFETY-RELATED EOUIPMENT
-POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 On July 18, 1989, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued Generic Letter 89-13, " Service Water System Problems Affecting Safety-Related Equipment."
In our response dated January 12, 1990, we' stated that we would notify you within 30 days of completing the last-action taken to address the concerns in the Generic Letter.
On January 31, 1992, the G01 emergency diesel generator annual maintenance outage:was completed with replacement of the diesel's glycol cooler and:its: service water supply line.
Replacement of the glycol cooler was_the final activity necessary:to address-Generic Letter 89-13 concerns.
We have now completed all actions planned in response to Generic. Letter 89-13 concerns, as contained in our January 12, 1990, letter.
