Dear Mr. Denton:

In accordance with a request from Mr. D. F. Schnell, Vice President, Union Electric Company, the attached operating shift experience information is being provided.

This information is a

-follow-up on the Utility Group presentation to the Commission on operating shift experience, which was made on February 24, 1984.

Philadelphia Electric Company is providing information on the staffing and licensing of the Limerick Generating Station.

We are presently expecting an operating license for Unit 1 of the Limerick Generating Station in August, 1984.

Based on the Utility Group presentation and the commitments made at that time, Unit 1 of Limerick Generating Station will probably require the use of Shift Advisors on some of the operating shifts (probably 2 of 6).

We believe these individuals can be obtained from our Peach Bottom plant,'if not available from Limerick staff personnel.

The attached sheets cover experience data for Shift Superintendents, Shift Supervisors, Control Operators, Assistant Control Operators, Plant Operators, Shif t Technical' Advisors, and other engineers as of March 15, 1984 and projected to August 1, 1984, the anticipated fuel load date.

An extra line was added to show fossil plant shift experience for some individuals.

Also included are data sheets which provide information related to ANS

-3.1 experience criteria.

The table below provides Philadelphia 1 Electric Company position designations equivalent to those used

-in the Utility Group document.
