Dear Dr. Murley:
The following is our response to NBC IE Bulletin 83-07 concerning apparently fraudulent products sold by Ray Miller, Inc.
'Ib provide the basis for our response Bechtel Power Corporation reviewed 455 vendors who provided material to various Bechtel nuclear projects. The review identified 36 vendors for Limrick Generating Station as potential sources of Ray Miller, Inc. products. A listing of these vendors is presented in the Attachment to this letter.
Further investigation of the equipnent and/or materials furnished by these 36 vendors concludes that no Ray Miller, Inc. products are used at Limerick Generating Station.
Additional investigations into the possible use of Ray Miller, Inc.
products were conducted by General Electric Co. NEBO (nuclear steam supply system), Philadelphia Electric Co. Purchasing Department, and Philadelphia Electric Co. Stores Division. None of these investigations has revealed any instance of use of Ray Miller, Inc. products at Limerick Generating Station.
