Submittal Dates For F0SAVEX-84 Matarial

Dear Mr. Collins:

We are hereby presenting a schedule of target dates for submittal of items related to the 1984 Fort St.

Vrain radiological emergency exercise, which has been tentatively scheduled for June 27, 1984.

Based on a June 27, 1984 exercise date, the following target dates are established for submittal of information to Region IV:

1.

Scope and Objectives:

On or before April 13, 1984 2.

Detailed Scenario:

On or before May 14, 1984 3.

Controller / Prompter Packages:

On or before May 14, 1984 4.

Conduct FOSAVEX-84:

June 27, 1984 It is our understanding that the State of Colorado may request an exemption from FEMA for participation in this year's exercise.

We will inform Region IV of any correspondence from FEMA or the state concerning the state's participation in the Fort St.

Vrain exercise this year. The scenario for the exercise will, of course, depend on the extent of involvement of the various organizations.
