I One of our letters to you dated August 30 1974 reported the details of an abnormal occurrence concerning an unsc,heduled radibattiv'ity b
release from the blowdown evaporator at the Point Beach Nuclear Plant.
On page 2, paragraph 2, the letter, af ter explaining that such releases are expected to be extremely infrequent events, went on to say that "...indeed, none has been experienced to date". This statement is incorrect. Although the root cause was different, an unscheduled, unmonitored release was made
