DOCKET NO. 50-266 LICENSE AMENDMENT APPROVAL FEE POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNIT 1 We have received your letter dated March 1, 1984 which
-rejects the arguments advanced in our letter dated December 5, 1983 concerning the appropriateness of 10 CFR 170.22 fees provided for review of those licensing actions surrounding the approval of the steam generator replacement at our Point Beach Nuclear Plant Unit 1.
Although we maintain that your fee determination for these actions is based on a rather arbitrary, and certainly last minute, decision by the Commission staff that a negative declaration on environmental impact could not be made, we have no recourse but to remit the fees as requested in your letter.
Accordingly, you will be pleased to find enclosed a check _in the amount of $1,200 which represents the balance of payment for the Class V fee determined to be appropriate by your office.
