On February 28, 1995, in accordance with 10CFR 73.55(c)(9)(i), Wisconsin Public Service Corporation provided a summary description of the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant's proposed vehicle control measures as required by 10CFR 73.55(c)(7) and the results of the i
vehicle bomb comparison as required by 10CFR 73.55(c)(8). Subsequent to the submittal we have identified a more cost effective design which provides equivalent protection to that which was previously submitted. Attached is a revised description of our proposed vehicle control measures. The alternative design continues to use barrier systems that are pre-approved by the NRC. The primary change in the design is the use of jersey barriers in lieu j
of the combination cable and rock design.
