Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit I, (TMI-1)
Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Independent Training Auditor response to your letter of January 20, 1984, GPUN has been in contact with on Dats Design Laboratories (DDL) and has been assured of the following:
1.
Whether DDL or individuals involved have been previously hired to do wcrk for the TMI-1 Restart proceedings.
Neither DDL not any individuals that would be involved in performance of the intended audit have been previously hired to do work for the THI-1 Restart proceeding.
During the period of June 7, 1982 through September 17, 1982, DDL was under contract to perform an independent assessment of the TMI-1 Operator Training Program. The resulting report which became the baseline for future comparisone was filed with NRC on October 1,1982 and October 5,1982.
2.
Whethar any individual involved has been previously employed by GPUN (and the nature of the employment).
No individuals involved in the baseline audit or who will be involved in the probationary in depth audit have been previously employed by GPU.
3.
Whether the individual owns or controls any significant amounts of CPU stock.
No individuala involved in the baseline audit or who will be involved in the probationary in depth audit have owned or controlled any sign-ificant amounts.of GPU stock.
4.
Whether members of the present household of individuals involved are employed by GPU.

relationships with the GPU System, DDL meets the requirements of sn independent auditor.
