Dear Mr. Spessard:

Enclosed is a copy of the final report for the June 25, 1994, Emergency Worker Assistance Center (EWAC) Drill site-specific to the WNP-2 Nuclear Power Plant.

The State of Washington and Benton and Franklin Counties in Washington participated in the drill.

The drill report was prepared by the Region X staff of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

The FEMA Region X staff has forwarded a copy of the report to the State of Washington.

The purpose of the drill was to evaluate the capability to i

respond to a radiological incident at the WNP-2 Nuclear Power Plant which would require the activation of the designated EWAC.

No Deficiencies were identified during the June 25, 1994, drill.

However, three Areas Requiring Corrective Actions and three Plan Issues were identified during the drill.

FEMA Region X staff will monitor the status of the ARCAs and the Plan Issues.

If you should have any questions, please contact Dr. Anne Marie T. SuPrise, Chief, State and Local Regulatory Evaluation and Assessment Branch, at (202) 646-4065.

Sincerely, w /
