VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT SPECIAL REPORT 2-95-2 NUMBER OF STEAM GENERATOR TUBES PLUGGED DURING 2R4 In accordance with the requirements of Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Tec'..nical Specificat!ons (TS) sections 4.4.5.5.a and 6.8.2, Georgia Power Company submits this special report of the number of steam generator tubes plugged during the Unit 2 fourth refueling outage (2R4).
As a result of the inservice inspection completed on March 16,1995, a total of three (3) tubes were plugged in steam generator #2. Two (2) of these tubes met or exceeded the Technical Specification limit for wall thinning (40 percent). The remaining tube was plugged as a precautionary measure. Complete inspection results will be submitted within 12 months per the requirement of Technical Specification 4.4.5.5.b.
