SUBJECT:
IMPACT OF 00L CASES ON SOUTH TEXAS PROJECT RESTART Richard P. Rosano of the Office of Enforcement and Lawrence E. Kokajko have reviewed the Department of Labor case files maintained by the Office of Enforcement concerning past and pending complaints filed by employees and contractors at South Texas Project. Although there are some cases still pending a final Department of Labor ruling which could result in a finding of discrimination, it was concluded that there was no case that warranted follow-up with the Department of Labor.
It was also determined that since there were no unknown technical issues, there was no case that would impact a restart decision.
Therefore, it was concluded that there are no pending cases or complaints that warrant contact with the Department of Labor prior to restart.
