Gentlemen:

We have completed our inspection of the crankshaft thrust bearings on the two Diesel Generators for Public Service of New Hampshire, Seabrook Unit 1.

The plugs were properly installed in both units. The units are free of the reported potential defect.

A copy of this report is being forwarded to the utility involved via the A/E.

We will report our findings on the remaining suspect units as the inspections are made, prior to their initial operation.
