~ SUPPLEMENTAL AFFIDAVIT OF F. SCOTT GIACOBBE F. SCOTT'GIACOBEE, being duly sworn according to law, de-poses and states as follows:

1. The purpose of this supplemental affidavit is to

clarify a potentially misleading statement in my affidavit of February.23, 1984.

2.. Near the end of paragraph seven on page three of my affidavit, I stated.that " sulfur and' chlorine are contaminants which are'known to cause IGSAC." In the context in which it was written,-the statement might be construed as suggesting chlorine While chlorine

.was a contaminant causing IGSAC of Inconel 600.

Edoes have that effect en sensitized austenitic stainless steel, I did not mean to suggest.that it would cause IGSAC of Inconel 600.

-L In fact, my affidavit shows chlorine does not have such an effect.on Inconel 600 even in the presence of sulfur.
