SCOTT'GIACOBEE, being duly sworn according to law, de-poses and states as follows:

The purpose of this supplemental affidavit is to

clarify a potentially misleading statement in my affidavit of February.23, 1984.
2..
Near the end of paragraph seven on page three of my affidavit, I stated.that " sulfur and' chlorine are contaminants which are'known to cause IGSAC."
In the context in which it was written,-the statement might be construed as suggesting chlorine
.was a contaminant causing IGSAC of Inconel 600.
While chlorine

Edoes have that effect en sensitized austenitic stainless steel, I did not mean to suggest.that it would cause IGSAC of Inconel 600.
