All data ises taken with the. switch in an oil bath. The temperature was varied at rates of 1*F/ min..
2*F/ min.. 3*F/ min.
and 4*F/ min.
The attached chart shows the response of the switch.-
i The second test was performed by stabilizing the switch in an. oil bath at 160'F.
The switch was then placed into an oil bath at 200*F.
The response-of the switch to trip, given the 40*F step change, was 3 minutes and 54 seconds.
