Dear Mr. Stolz:
Under separate cover, we are transmitting three (3) original and forty (40) conformed copies of an application for Amendment to Facility Operat-ing License No. NPF-3 for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.
This application requests that the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit 1 Technical Specification, Appendix A, be revised to reflect the changes attached. The proposed changes involve Tables 3.3-10 and 4.3-10.
The proposed change and its safety evaluation concerns the deletion from the Post Accident Monitoring requirement for the Containment Hecirculating System (CRS). The CRS was deleted by issuance of Amendment 66 dated January 20, 1984 (Log No. 1437). The CRS part of Post-Accident Monitoring was' overlooked and this request is to delete that requirement from the Technical Specifications.
This amendment request involves a change of Class II type.
Enclosed is a check for $1,200 as requested by 10 CFR 170.22.
