- Addenda, IWA-6230 requires filing the Inservice Inspection summary reports for Class 1
and 2

Information to IWA-6220 requires that e.batracts of support the repairs and replacements to included in dotornination that the summery report. GGNS performs reviews the Codo on all ASME Section XI work packages requirements are (including m.ochanic.al, cloctrical and Ituc impractical packages) after refueling outages to identify work packages whh doction XI repairs / replacements which require the preparation of NIS-2 forme. The review of work packegos and preparation of NIS-2s is required within 90 days.

Information to
- 1) Work packages for completed work are support the subjected to a
serios of reviews by determination that soveral plant organizations. These reviews the Code verify packago correctness and requirements are completonoss, address failures due to impractical equipment malfunction and verify that tho (continued):
work was proporly performed as documented in the package.
The amount of timo required to complete those post-work reviews can vary from two wooks to throo months. Subsequent to thcso reviews,.the packago is provided to the Section XI group which is responsible for preparation of the summary report. If another outago is required within tho 90 days following a refueling
- outage, the priority of the I
organizatione performing reviews changes from post-work reviews to outago support.

Reasons why rollof Extension of the 90 day filing limit is should be grantedt requested for the following reasons:
1)
The codo requires inclusion of abstracts of repairs and replacements in the Inservico Inspection Summary Report.
For documentation of repairs and replacements, GGNS has elected to utilizo the NIS-2 form contained in a
later edition of the Codo As stated under "
Information to support the datormination that the Codo requirements are impractical",
completion of the work packago reviews and preparation of the NIS-2s during the 90 day period is impractical.
2)
The wor.
pack..go documents the performance of the repair or replacement.
It is assembled and implomonted in accordanco with plant programs that assure that repairs and mlacements are in accordance with the requirements of-ASME Section XI.
The NIS-2 is utilized to summarize the repair / replacements for reporting purposes and_ for Codo Data Report updatos as applicable. The Section l
XI group performs a comprehensive work packago review to ensure that the programs at GGNS are offectivo.
The Section XI group has the best exportise for the review of packages for ASME Section XI compliance.
This review providos added assurance that 100%
of the Section XI repairs and replacements are properly identified and reported, llowever, because of the time spent reviewing work packages and preparing NIS-2s, tho 90 day filing l
period causes undue hardship on utility l
