NRC IE BULLETIN NO. 83-06 DATED JULY 22, 1983 NONCONFORMING MATERI ALS SUPPLIED BY TUBE-LINE CORPORATION FACILITIES AT LONG ISLAND CITY, NEW YORK; HOUSTON, TEXAS; AND CAROL STREAM, ILLINOIS In our November 21, 1983, reply we stated that all but four suppliers.'had replied, that materials received from Colt Industries were being reviewed in-house and that we would advise you of the results by February 28, 1984.
Bechtel received letters from the remaining four suppliers confirming that no Tube-Line materials were supplied to Hope Creek.
The in-house review of Colt Industries documentation is not yet complete.
The review of Tube-Line's records for the 578 Tube-Line fittings received from two suppliers on four field purchase orders to determine if any of these fittings are acceptable for use in safety related systems is not yet complete.
We' will advise you of the results of these reviews by May 31, 1984.
