Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

Please refer to D. S. Kammer's May 25, 1983 letter to you responding to Inspection Report Nos. 50-259/83-09, -260/83-09, -296/83-09 on Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant. In Item A of that submittal, we indicated that we would provide an implementation schedule. The schedule we have developed calls for the identified deficiencies to be corrected by the end of cycle 6 refueling outage for each unit. A list of the identified deficiencies and implementation schedule was provided to the NRC senior resident inspector on September 1, 1983 If you have any questions, please call Jim Domer at FTS 858-2725.

To the best of my knowledge, I declare the statements contained herein are complete and true.

Very truly yours, TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY L. M. Mills, Man ger Nuclear Licensing 8403070054 830915 PDR ADOCK 05000259 G
