Fire Protection - Completion of Room 300 Detection Installation Gentlement Toledo Edison's (TE) November 1, 1991 letter (Serial Number 1789) submitted a License Amendment Request (LAR) to remove the f}re protection requirements per Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Generic Letter 86-10 and NRC Generic Letter 88-12.
In the LAR cover letter, TE committed to inform the NRC vhen the li.c+allation of additional area-type detection in the fuel handling are (Room 300) was complete.
"he installation of additional area-type detection ui.oom 300 has been completed and the procedures have been revised to reflect the installation of the new detectors. The Fire Hazards Analysis Report, which is now oart of the Updated Safety Analysis Report, vill be revised during the 1992 annual update to reflect the installation of these new detectors.
