Enclosed is a copy of the final exercise report for the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power station April 11-12, 1995, full-participation plume exposure pathwcy earcise of the offsite radiological emergency response plans site-specific to the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Station. This report addresses the evaluation of the plans and preparedness for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Emergency Planning Zone.
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; risk counties of Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York; and support counties of Adams, Franklin and Schuylkill participated in this exercise.
The final exercise report was prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
Region III staff.
Copies of this report will be forwarded to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by Region III staff.
There were no Deficiencies identified during the April 11-12, 1995, exercise.
There were,
- however, twenty-nine Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) identified during this exercise.
Region III staff will coordinate with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to correct the ARCAs on or before the next scheduled biennial exercise.
Based on the results of the April 11-12, 1995, exercise, the offsite radiological emergency response plans and preparedness for the Commonvealth of Pennsylvania and the affected local jurisdictions site-specific to the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Station can be laplemented and are adequate to provide reasonable 9508010051 950721 PDR ADOCK 05000289 F
