The purpose of this letter is to document information provided to the NRC staffin a teleconference held on July 17,1995. In response to the question asked by the NRC staff, the safety related equipment that may have Okonite T-95 tape splices in its circuitry will complete its intended safety function within the 36 hours4.166667e-4 days
0.01 hours
5.952381e-5 weeks
1.3698e-5 months
of the accident modeled in Reference 3, except for the reacotr cavity fan coolers (RCFC) fan motors. As for the RCFC fan motors, the postulated submergence condition is not expected to occur, due to a drain hole existing in each motor connection junction box.
If you have any questions, please contact this office.
