Dear Mr. Crossman:
I am writing to confirm and document our telephone coversation of 13 October 1983. As discussed, the NSC respectfully requests that the due date for the final report concerning the reportable occurrence of 6 October 1983 be extpnded to 27 October 1983. The original due date is 20 October 1983. This request is made in order to permit Dr. Erdman and myself to review the report prior to its sub-mittal. We are both away from our offices during the weel< of 17 October attending the research reactor meetings at MIT.
