Operatiag License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Control of Heavy Loads The enclosures to this letter document our response to the questions raised in the TER conducted for the NRC by the Franklin Research Center (FRC)
(Reference 1).
The FRC-TER identified several items that required further information and evaluation.
Our enclosures include the results of GPUN's evsluation of the Reactor Building polar crane design and special lifting device design considerations while addressing the remaining open items for the Reactor Building heavy loads from the FRC-TER. Moreover, the enclosure provides clarification to our response submitted as Reference 2.
Additionally, we have provided a schedule of actions taken and planned to resolve the Heavy Loads issue and consider this submittal as GPUN's resolu-tion of the requirements of NUREG 0612.
