The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued Administrative Letter 94-07 to inform licensees that the NRC would welcome receipt of copies of the information brochures that are disseminated annually to the public pursuant to 10CFR Part 50, Appendix E, and also updated State and/or local emergency plan information. This information would be used to augment the information contained in the site emergency plan. As mentioned in your letter, placing the NRC on the distribution list is strictly voluntary.
