Dear Dr. Murley:
Iowa Electric Light and Power Company has made changes to the Duane Arnold Energy Center Security Plan to reflect recent organizational changes.
These changes to the Security Plan have been mado pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).
These changes are reflected in Security Plan Change Number 27 and hava been reviewed in accordnnce with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(p).
We have determined that none of the changes decreases the safeguards effectiveness of the Security Plan.
A description of the changes and a copy of our evaluation is attached.
As specified in 10 CFR 50.4, we are sending the signed original and three copies, with four sets of attachments.
In addition, two copies of the letter and attachments are being provided to the Region III office.
