Detroit Edison Interim Report Response to NRC IE Bulletin 83-06
Dear Mr. Keppler:
in response to the subject bulletin request, we submitted the referenced interim report on Detroit Edison's investigation for the determination of the existence of Tubeline products at the Enrico Fermi 2 site.
To date Project quality Assurance for the Enrico Fermi Power Plant, Unit 2, has reviewed most of the records of site contractors and has found no evidence of Tubeline products. Also, General Electric advises us of similar results.
Originally, we had committed to a final report date of February 1, 1984. However, we find that additional time is needed to complete our in depth search and review.
Therefore, we request an extension of the final reporting date.
A final report will be submitted by April 30, 1984. Should you require additional information from Detroit Edison in this matter, please advise us.
