The Southern Nuclear Operating Company (Southern Nuclear) Board of Directors has named C. Alan Martin as Vice President of Southern Nuclear in connection with the system wide restructuring of human resources, effective June 12,1995. In this capacity, Mr. Martin will report to Mr. W. G. Hairston, Southern Nuclear President and CEO. Mr. Martin will also report to Mr. A. W. (Bill) Dahlberg, Southern Company President and CEO, and other specific Southern Electric System CEOs (i.e., Alabama Power Compcny, Georgia Power Company, Southern Company Services, Savannah Electric and Power t ympany, Gulf Power Company, and Mississippi Power Company) relative to their respective company.
On the same day, the Southern Nuclear Board of Directors named Mr. W. M. Stephens as Assistant Secretary and Assistant Treasurer of the Company. Mr. Stephens replaces Mr. T.
A. Fanning, who served this position since February 20,1995.
