l The subject request was submitted to the NRC by Public Service Electric and Gas on March 30, 1995.
The request proposes to remove currently specified response time testing for selected instruments I
and sensors from the Hope Creek Technical Specifications.
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering (BNE) h6s reviewed the request in accordance J
with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.91(b).
Our conclusion from this review is that although the change eliminates some of the currently required response time testing, the change is warranted.
We have no other comments.
