$0-328 SEQUOYAll NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN) - SPECIAL REPORT ON STF#1 GENERATOR (SC) tulle INSPECTIONS THAT FALL INTO CATEGORY C-3 Pursuant to the reporting requirement of Technical Specification (TS) 4.4.5.5(c), this subtnittal provides notification of the results of SQN's in-service suspection (ISI) of SG No. A tubing and the classification as Category C-3.
In the initial-SC No. A sample of 719 tubes (approximately 20 percent), 12 tubes were determined to have primary water stress corrosion cracking.
In accordance with SQN TS 3/4.4.5, SG No. 4 was classilled as Category C-3.
NRC was verbally notifled of these results during a telephone conference call on October 29, 1991. The remaining nonplugged tubes in SG No. 4 were subsequently examined as required by TSn.
TS 4.4.5.5(c) also requires a follow-up written report, which is currently anticipated to be included with the 15-day tube plugging report required by TS 4.4.5.5(a).
