Gentlemen:
j In accordance with the October 14, 1993, Memorandum and i
Order in the captioned proceeding, the Washington Public Power Supply System (" Supply System") hereby submits its quarterly status report regarding the deferred WNP-1 project.
There has been no change to the status of the WNP-1 i
project since my letter to the Licensing Board of February 15, 1995.
However, as discussed in that letter, the Supply System did i
submit Site Restoration Plan encompassing the WNP-1, WNP-3, c.
UNP-4, and WNP-5 projects to the State of Washington Energy Facility Si a Evaluation Council
("EFSEC")
in March 1995.
By letter dated June 15, 1995, EFSEC notified the supply System that it has generally approved the Site Restoration Plan, conditioned on more detailed reviews as additional information is developed by the Supply System.
