This is to confirm our earlier telephone report of an oil spill at North Anne Pcuer Stetton.

At approximately 2640 p.m. on Decere.ber 2S,1983, station personnel discovered a sr-all oil sheen on Lake Anna. it was determined that rain washed the oil of f waste oil drur.s located adjacent to a parking lot into the storrwater drainese system. An oil boce;and absorbent pads were used to contain and cleanup the spill.

Stction personnel are in the process of constructins, an oil dru:.

storage facility, ihls facility should prevent a recurrence of this type of InSicent.

Due to the prorpt action taken by Cow any personnel, the spill was conteined end cleaned up with no apparent adverse Irpects to fish or other aquatic ilfe, t
