Dear Sir:
The purpose of this letter is to request a revision to the date contained in Reference (1) for submittal of a Technical Specification Change for emergency diesel generator (EDG) testing.
In References (1) and (.?.), we committed to evaluate EDG testing practices and requirements and submit a Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR) by December 2, 1991.
The evaluation of EDG testing practices and requirements is completed and the TSCR has been approved by the Plant Operations Review Committee.
We are in the final stages of obtaining Nuclear Review Board review and concurrence with the TSCR that incorporates improved EDG testing practices into the Technical Specifications.
The TSCR will be submitted to the Commission by January 31, 1992.
