Occurrence Date: July 20, 1975 Facility:

Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station R.D. #1, Delta, Pennsylvania 17314 identification of Occurrence:

Failure of stack flow transmitters.

Condi tions Prior to Occurrence:

Both units at approximately 50% power.

Description of Occurrence:

On the evening of July 20, 1975, lightning apparently struck the main offgas stack, resulting in damage to both offgas stack flow transmi tters.
