U.S. AEC BULLETIN. 73 FAULTY OVERCURRENT TRIP DELAY DEVICE IN CIRCUIT BREAKERS FOR ENGINEERED SAFETY SYSTEMS-SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION The Directorate of Regulatory Operations _ Bulletin No. 73-1, recei,ved with your letter. of February = 23, 1973, has' been reviewed.
Our studies-of its applicability to.-Salem Nuclear Generating Station are indicated.as follows':
1.
All the 460V and 230V circuit breakers supplied by PSE&G for' Salem-are supplied by ITE Imperia 1' Corporation with dashpots manufactured by ITE in~
Chicago =and Philadelphia.
2.
The' reactor. trip ~switchgear_provided by Westinghouse-as part of the NSSS package _doesLeontain four Westinghouse-DB-50 breakers. 'However, these' breakers:
do n't contain overcurrent prote'etion._

Westinghouse also supplied the'. switch-gear for the rod drive MG-set whichu
'contains two Westinghouse :DB-50 breakers.
However, this_switchgear is_ classified' as non-vital.
