Updated Information in Support of Proposed Change No.173 -
BWRThermalHydraulic Stability he purpose of this letter is to provide updated Technical Specification Proposed Change No.173 to the Vermont Yankee Technical Specifications.pages in Pmposed Change No.173 was submitted to the NRC via Reference (b) to address the issue of BWR nermal Hydraulic Stability as it pertains to implementation of the BWR Owners' Group Option.1-D long term stability solution.
The enclosed pages contain identical information as compared to the original submittal (Reference (b)], with the following updates incorporated:
NRC. issued a request for additional information [ Reference-(c)], and Vermont Yankee responded via Reference (e). He Reference (c) submittal provided a revised Technical Specification Section 3.6 and 4.6 Bases as a clarification to our Reference (b) submittal.
De Vermont Yankee Technical Specifications have been reformatted, as approved by NRC in Reference (d). The enclosed pages are provided in the current reformatted vers on.-
Amendment 141 regarding Jet Pump Surveillance was issued by NRC via Reference (f).- This change affected some of the non-related specifications previously submitted in Reference (b).
