On Moreh 25, 1971, the regulatory staff was infomed by the Commoaveahh Edison Company that a small aumber of fuel reis,in I
their Dresden 3 resetor could contain one or more fuel pellets with improper fuel enriehment. Se suspeetc4 problem was identi-fied as one in which pellets of higher enrishment (2.4 peroomt enrichment) could be in fuel rots oostaisias pellets of lower enrichment (1.2pereentenrichment). A sinnan eentities was suspected with the fuel supplied for their Ques Cities 1 remotor.

The C-1th Edison Cougaar eat the Gesassi Elastrie Cogeny are currently perfemming gamma seamming eyesettees of the Dresden 3 and Qsee Cities 1 fuel. Se 11eemsee estimates that this will delay I
the resumptica of operations at Dresden 3 until midh 1971. Be delay is espoeted by the liesseee in the ques Cities 1 fuel lasting date, eurzently asketuned for mid-aans 1971.
