Dear Mr. Collins:
PSC is preparing a response to the reference (1) letter regarding additional information on H-451 graphite.
The analysis work, referred to in the reference (2) letter, has now been performed, but, due to unforeseen difficulties with the computer codes, the remaining work, consisting of independent verification, response preparation, and final approval, is behind schedule.
As a result, we will not be able to respond by October 10, 1983.
This was discussed with Mr. P. Wagner by telephone on October 3,1983 and agreement was reached to postpone the submittal date to October 28, 1983.
We regret this delay and hope that it does not cause you or your staff any undue inconvenience.
