Dear Mr. Denton:
This letter provides Amendment 2 to the Byron /Braidwood Fire Protection Report which was submitted in references (a) and (b).
This amendment incorporates information regarding instrumentation, communications and suppression systems which was provided to the NRC in references (c) and (d).
It also includes additional information and commitments made in response to NRC concerns identified during the Byron site fire protection audit as documented in reference (e).
Voluntary changes to correct mistakes and update the report are also included.
Attachment A to this letter summarizes the changes contained in Amendment 2.
This list is provided as an aid to NRC review of the amendment.
