Response to Generic Letter 91-12, " Operator Licensing National Examination Schedule"

Dear Sir:

Generic Letter (GL) 91-12, " Operator Licensing National Examination Schedule," dated August-27, 1991, requested licensees to voluntarily submit updated schedules for licensed operator i

examinations.

! to this letter is the Philadelphia Electric Company (PECo) response to GL 91-12 for the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS), Units 2 and 3. to this letter is the PECo response for the Limerick Generating Station (LGS), Units 1 and 2.

Both attachments contain proposed schedules for operator licensing examinations, requalification examinations and generic fundamental examinations,_which are listed in each attachment as Enclosures 1, 2, and 3 respectively.

It should be noted that we intend to submit a request for a schedular exemption from the requirements of 10CFR55.59 to conduct the annual requalification operating examination for the current multi-site (i.e., PBAPS and LGS) licensed Limited Senior Reactor Operators (i.e.,

for fuel handling) in January 1992, instead of the end of 1991.

This is reflected in the information provided in Enclasure 2 for both PBAPS and LGS.
