COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION (CPSES)
DOCKET POS 50-445 AND 50-446 P-10 PERMISSIVE SDAR CP-86-023 (SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT)
Gentlemen:
On June 5,1986, TV Electric notified the NRC via TXX-4835 of a reportable deficiency 4 volving a potential failure of the reacto protection system permissive, P-10, to reset during power reduction to below the P-10 setpoint.
'The most recent report on this issue, logged TXX-88427, was submitted on May 5, 1988.
The purpose of this report is to provide the current status of corrective actions.
As noted in TXX 1835, os corrective action, operations procedures will be revised to provide the operator with additional information concerning the

P-10 permissive and actions to be taken under certain operating conditions.
Unit 1 corrective action has been completed and the Unit 2 action will be consistert @ th tha Unit 1 action.
For Unit 2, the alarm response procedures have been ins!R-d and the integrated plant operating procedure will be revised prier to Unit i ici load.
