- 2) Serial 20739, dated March 30, 1983 This letter, as were the referenced letters, is an interim report on the potential 50.55(e) condition concerning loose locking clips (Tinnerman Speed Nuts), As reported previously, the vendor has approved tooling and installation and inspection procedures for replacing Tinnerman speed nuts.
Actual replacement is expected to start in late July; no estimate of completion can be made at this time.
Reportability of the non-conforming Tinnerman nuts found in Midland equipment is still being evaluated by B&W.
