Dresden Station, Units 2 and 3, Flooding of Critical Equipment - Dresden Station S o.ial Report "o. 33 - AEC Dkts 50-237 and 50-249
Dear Mr. Ziemann:
The attached Dresden Special Report No. 33, " Final Flood Protection Measures, Drenden Units 2 and 3, (Permanent Flood Protection of the Containment Cooling Service Water Pumps cnd Diesel Gencrator Cooling Water Pumps)," responds to the request for additional information in your letter dated May 9, 1973.
The report discusses the design and cafety evaluation of the plant modifications.
It is planned to have the submersible diesel generator cooling water pumps in service and the Containment Cooling Service Water Pump vault wall erected by January, 1974.
The remainder of the vault work, which includes installation and testing of various watertight seals and closures, will be completed by April, 1974.
