Enclosed are:

1. Forty-one (41) copies of a Westinghouse document entitled, " Westinghouse Advanced Pressurized Water Reactor RESAR SP/90, FDA Module 2, Regulatory Conformance" (Proprietary).
2. Four (4) copies of a Westinghouse document entitled, " Westinghouse Advanced Pressurized Water Reactor RESAR SP/90, PDA Module 2, Regulatory Conformance" (Non-Proprietary).

3 One (1) copy of an Application for Withholding Proprietary Infonnation From Public Disclosure, AW-83-109 (Non-Proprietary).

4. One (1) copy of an original affidavit, AW-82-57 (Non-Proprietary).

The enclosed document; MAPWR RESAR SP/90, PDA Modale 2, " Regulatory Confonnance"; is the second in a series of modular PDA documents planned for submittal over the next thirteen months. The number of copies submitted were agreed to via discussion with the NRC Special Projects Branch (Mr. G. C. Meyer).

8* This Regulatory Conformance module is an updated version of the " Licensing a

Control Document" submitted via reference 1. It has been prepared to ensure SO that both current and anticipated licensing requirments and guidance are considered as an integral part of the MAPWR design in response to new or 8 potential fbture licensing requirements, and indicates Westinghouse design, l analysis / evaluation, and licensing documentation intentions for the MAPWR.

~* Westinghouse requests that the NRC staff review this document from the -

standpoint of (1) completeness in addressing new or potential future licensing requirments, and (2) adequacy'of the Westinghouse interpretation and response to these licensing requirements.
