McNamata TELEPHONE 1 (315) 524-4446 EXT. 301 at Ginna MONTH March, 1983 The reactor power level was maintained at the 100% level for the majority of the report period, with the exception of minor reductions to ~ 97% on 3/18 and 3/22 to perform Periodic Tests on the Auxiliary Feedwater System.

On 3/26 the unit was removed from srvice for the annual inspection, maintenance and Refueling Shutdown.

b' Page 5 GINNA STATION Maintenance Report Sufcary March, 1983 During March, routine maintenance and inspections were completed.

Maior safety-related maintenance included:

1.

Reolacement of a -broken valve diaphragm on FCV-110B, Flow Control valve from the Boric Acid Blender to -the Charging System.

2.

Maintenance support for the. scheduled Refueling Outage which commenced on 3/26/83.

3.

Repairs to the Plant Ventilation Duct which was found leaking excessively.
