Mr. James P. O'Reilly, Regional Administrator 101 Marietta Street, NW, Suite 2900 Atlanta, Georgia 30303
Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
INSPECTION AND ENFORCEMENT BULLETIN 83 NONCONFORMING MATERIALS SUPPLIED BY THE TUBE-LINE CORFORATION FACILITIES AT LONG ISLAND CITY, NEW YORK: HOUSTON, TEXAS; AND CAROL STREAM, ILLIN0IS Please refer to L. M. Mills' letters to you dated November 22, 1983 and February 2, 1984, which contained our responses to Bulletin 83-06. After reviewing those two submittals, it appeared our response for Browns Ferry could be considered inconclusive. We would like to point out that the analysis for Browns Ferry revealed that no Tube-Line supplied materials have been furnished for use in safety-related systems.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with R. H. Shell at FTS 858-2688.
To the best of my knowledge I declare the statements contained herein are complete and true.
Very truly yours, TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY hh D. S. Kammer Nuclear Engineer cc:
