Inspection of Hydraulic Shock Absorbers (Snubbers)
R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant, Unit No.1 Docket No. 50-244
Dear Mr. Goller:
In accordance with Mr. Skovholt's letter of October 1,1973, con-cerning periodic inspection of hydraulic shock absorbers (snubbers), an inspection of all snubbers, both inside and outside of containment, was completed on October 14, 1975.
All snubbers were considered operable at this inspection. The Bergen-Paterson unit outside of containment, reported in our letter dated October 10, 1975 to have leakage indicated, was removed for repair of the accumulator. Fluid addition was made to one other Bergen-Paterson unit outside of containment although there was no leakage exhibited.
