APPLICANTS' MOTION FOR ENLARGEMENTOF TIME WITHIN WHICH APPLICANTS MAY FILE A PROPOSED STANDARD FOR ADJUDICATING CLAIMS OF HARASSMENT, INTIMIDATION AND THREATS OF OUALITY CONTROL INSPECTORS Texas Utilities Generating Co. , et al., (" Applicants") hereby request an enlargement of time within which Applicants may file a proposed standard for adjudicating claims of harassment, intimida-tion, and threats of quality control inspectors. The proposed enlargement would extend Applicants' filing date until May 8, 1984.

The requested enlargement is necessary hocause counsel for Applicants and Applicants' management were engaged in hearings before this Board during the week of April 23 and will continue to be engaged in such hearings for a substantial portion of the week of April 30. Accordingly, Applicants' counsel and management require a,dditional time to prepare a standard that will assist the j Board in adjudicating claims of harassment, intimidation, and threats of quality control inspectors. Applicants also note that 1

I the other parties to this proceeding will not be prejudiced by the requested extension because their time for responding to Appli-8405020493 840430 n /L PDR ADOCK 05000 G hU_,/

cants' proposed standard is tolled while hearings are being conducted by the Board.

For the above-stated reasons, Applicants respectfully request that the Board enter the attached proposed order enlarging until May 8, 1984, the time within which Applicants may file a proposed standard for adjudicating claims of harassment, intimidation and threats of quality control inspectors.

Respectfully submitted, Bruce L. Downey fQ/
