TOLSON REGARDING COATINGS REINSPECTION PROGRAM My name is Ronald G.
Tolson.
I am employed by Texas Utilities Generating Company.
A statement of my educational and professional qualifications has been adaritted into the record as Applicant's Exhibit 20.
During 1981 and 1982 I was Site Quality Assurance

Supervisor for TUGCO at Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station.
As such, I was responsible for supervising. the coatings reinspection' program that was comme.nced on the site during the winter of 1981-1982.
r On July 26, 1982, in testimony before the Board in this proceeding, I stated that the results of 'the coatings reinspection program to date showed that "[i]n general, the
- coating work -was performed quite satisfactorily the first
_ time" (tr. 2114).. I then recited examples reflecting the i
satisfactory quality of coatings in place.

2-My statement regarding the preliminary, satisfactory resuslts of the coatings reinspection program was based on ongoing repcorts to me from QA/QC personnel under my supervision.
These reports, in turn, were presumably based on inspection records generatec1 by QC inspectors performing coatings reinspections that had been accomplished prior to the July 1982 hearings, d
